Monmouthshire County Council (MCC) is committed to safeguarding the welfare of those accessing our services through the effective use of the Disclosure and Baring Service (DBS).
MCC is working in Partnership with Powys County Council to enable staff to complete online DBS applications using a fast, efficient and secure online service.
The Service:
- Intelligent form with automatic validation of information input
- Applicants can complete their forms anywhere using a web-enabled PC, laptop or iPhone
- Applicants are set up and provided with secure logon and instructions for completion of form via email
- Email notification of disclosure results / information to managers
- Automatic email reminders for non completion of form to applicants
- Automatic email reminders for validation and completion of ID section of form by Verification Officers.
MCC is not able to provide an umbrella service to other organisations.
If you are an external organisation working with MCC and wish to undertake online DBS applications you will need to contact Powys County Council directly for access to the service.
